NAYAC sytands for "National Association for Youths Against Corruption". It was found by the suspended Midlands State University Student activist aginst Corruption , Chris Gatsi (1985). He teamed up with Benson Mavesere, Canny Kaeto, Vincent Mukota and Aaron Mukono. Together the five are named the Trustees of NAYAC.
It was officially launched on 12 Apric 2006 and completed its registration in July 2006 as a National Association. The Challenges faced included ressistance to register, inadequate resources for programmes and political interference but were overcome by the resillient nature of NAYAC members.
